Bloomington-based BioConvergence LLC has announced it is expanding operations and transitioning to a new name. The company will soon be known as Singota Solutions, which it says reflects its continued growth as a contract development and manufacturing organization.
The expansion includes the construction of clean rooms and installation of equipment. These will be used to fill injectable drug products into containers for clients in the pharmaceutical industry.
"We continually seek new ways to improve patients’ lives by helping our clients accelerate their product development process," said Alisa Wright, chief executive officer. "This has been our mission from the start of the company ten years ago. This project, like our past expansions, fills a critical need expressed by our clients."
Brent Lieffers, senior director of operations, said the expansion also creates new employment opportunities. The company did not release any financial details of the expansion or how many jobs would be created.
