Indiana Utility Consumer Counselor Bill Fine has been elected to the executive committee of the National Association of State Utility Consumer Advocates.

NASUCA is a not-for-profit organization of 56 consumer advocates in 43 states and the District of Columbia, as well as Puerto Rico, Barbados and Jamaica. Each NASUCA member is designated by the laws of its respective jurisdiction to represent utility consumer interests before state and federal regulators and the courts.

Governor Eric Holcomb appointed Fine as Indiana’s utility consumer counselor in January 2017.

Additional members of the Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor’s staff serve as chairs of three of NASUCA’s eight committees, including Robert Mork (Electric Committee), Edward Kaufman (Water Committee), and Margaret Stull (Accounting and Tax Committee).
