Bethel College in Mishawaka has inked an agreement with Indiana Wesleyan University on an international health program. Under the agreement, students can earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree in five years through courses at both schools.
As part of the program, students will begin the Master of Public Health program at Indiana Wesleyan during their senior year in Bethel’s International Health program. Graduates often seek jobs with government agencies and nonprofit organizations working in the fields of safe water, food security, environmental sustainability, economic development and education.
Bethel’s undergraduate program includes international field experience, with students traveling to countries including Indonesia, Kenya, Spain and Bolivia. The school say, since the IWU master’s program is online, students can gain work experience while finishing their graduate degree.
