Three northeast Indiana companies are planning to expand operations. The Journal Gazette in Fort Wayne reports Smith Brothers of Berne Inc., FCC (Adams) LLC and Key Fasteners Corp., all in Berne, intend to add a total of more than 100 jobs. Each had tax incentives approved by the Berne City Council Tuesday. Total investments in the initiatives could top $57 million.

FCC is proposing the largest expansion of the three. They are looking to pump more than 40 million into growth, which includes adding 50 workers.

Key's estimates its expansion and equipment investment over the next two years will be nearly $10 million. They could add 10 jobs.

The Smith Brothers announcement includes more than 20 jobs previously announced earlier this year. It plans to create a total of 45 jobs with a nearly $7 million initiative to grow and upgrade equipment.
