The Indiana House has passed a bill that would boost production limits on Indiana breweries. The proposal, which increases the limit to 90,000 barrels per year, now heads to the Indiana Senate. Production is currently capped at 30,000 barrels per year.

Late last year, Indianapolis-based Sun King Brewing Co. terminated distribution agreements outside of the Indianapolis metropolitan area and Bloomington. At the time, President Omar Robinson told Inside INdiana Business that increased sales were bringing the brewer close to the state's production limit.

Last month, Sun King joined forces with Munster-based 3 Floyds Brewing Co. to launch a campaign to push lawmakers to boost the limit.
