Bechdol Now Full-Time With AgriNovus

The state’s agbiosciences initiative has shifted its top leadership role to full-time. Beth Bechdol, who has served as president and chief executive officer of AgriNovus Indiana on a contract basis since it launched in 2015, previously served as director of agribusiness strategies for Indianapolis-based Ice Miller LLP.
Bechdol’s career experience includes positions with the Indiana State Department of Agriculture, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee and Informa Economics. She holds degrees from Georgetown University and Purdue University and is a board member for organizations including the Indiana Humanities Council, Indiana State Fair Commission, Conner Prairie, Purdue Research Foundation, Farm Foundation Round Table and the National FFA.
AgriNovus Indiana has also announced the addition of Bridget O’Reilly as digital media manager. O’Reilly, an Indiana University graduate, will run the organization’s social media and digital platforms. She previously worked for multiple startups in Texas and Indiana and was director of a Fort Wayne art gallery.
