Batesville Chamber Hosting Job Fair

The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce is Tuesday hosting a career fair featuring over 300 job opportunities. The chamber says more than 25 companies will be on hand representing a variety of industries, including healthcare, education and manufacturing.

The Work Batesville! event, being held in conjunction with the city of Batesville and the Batesville Rotary Club, will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus in the Franklin County city. The event is free and open to the public.

"This is a unique opportunity for a jobseeker to meet face-to-face with these exceptional businesses to take their career to the next level," said Anna Ibold, executive director of the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce. “We are confident that you can build your future here and Work Batesville! is the place to start."

The career fair will also include staffing agencies on hand to provide career resources, training programs and educational opportunities. Attendees are being encouraged to dress professionally for on-site interviews and bring multiple copies of their resumes.
