Basketball Hall of Fame Names New Directors

The Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame has named three new members to the board of directors. The board will welcome Larry Angle, Denny Brady and Roger DeYoung when they begin their four-year terms July 1.
Angle is a 2010 inductee into the Hall of Fame and a former coach at Rushville, Carmel, Tipton, Greenfield-Central and Indian Creek. Brady was Indiana’s 1964 Mr. Basketball and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2006. DeYoung worked seven IHSAA boys basketball state finals as an official and received the Hall of Fame’s Center Circle Officials Award in 2002.
The board has promoted Bill Walker to vice president north and Mark Baltz to vice president central. The full Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame officers for the 2016-2017 year include:

- Steve Witty, Executive Vice President
- Ray Pavy, Treasurer
- Jerry Peirson, Secretary
- Jim Callane, Immediate Past President
- Bill Walker, Vice President North
- Mark Baltz, Vice President Central
- Donna Sullivan, Vice President South
- Phil Isenbarger, At-Large
- Dr. Amy Metheny, At-Large
- Vance Meier, Henry County Representative
- Chris May, Executive Director
