Congressman Jim Banks (R-3) has promoted Tinisha Weigelt to district director in his Fort Wayne office. She previously served as office manager and financial administrator for Congressman Banks. Weigelt graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a B.S. in International Relations and served in the office of former Congressman Randy Forbes (R-Virginia) for 13 years. 

She is a member of the 2017-2018 class of the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series. Also, Weigelt is a member of the United Way of Huntington County board of directors, vice-chair of Roanoke Zoning Board of Appeals and is former president of the Roanoke Kiwanis Club.
