INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Mayor Greg Ballard will testify Thursday before the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works regarding federal funding for projects such as bike lanes, trails, greenways, and other alternative transportation projects.
Indianapolis has used federal funding programs to help construct the Indianapolis Cultural Trail, Monon Trail, the Fall Creek Trail, Illinois and Capital Ave bike lanes, and Washington Street pedestrian improvements.
