He is planning the first public meeting for next week on a proposed $350 million effort to fund infrastructure projects in city neighborhoods. The session is set for next Thursday. February 28, 2014

INDIANAPOLIS – On Thursday, March 6, Mayor Greg Ballard will join Department of Public Works (DPW) leaders and engineers for the first of several public meetings regarding the proposed RebuildIndy 2 plan, which would provide up to $350 million in much needed infrastructure projects in neighborhoods across Marion County.

7 – 8 p.m.

The meeting will begin with brief remarks by Mayor Ballard and DPW officials followed by an open house session in which citizens can talk directly with City officials, learn about potential projects for their neighborhoods, ask questions and provide input regarding community infrastructure needs.
