Ball State University is slated to announce its next president Thursday during a news conference. They will be the school's 15th president and succeed Jo Ann Gora, who will retire next month. May 20, 2014

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State University Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting and press conference on Thursday, May 22, at 1 p.m. in Sursa Hall, where it will vote to approve the appointment of the university’s 15th president.

Ball State students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends are welcome to attend. The announcement is also scheduled to be live-streamed at bsu.edu.
