Ball State University has named Alan Finn vice president for business affairs and treasurer. Finn is currently vice president for business and finance and treasurer at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, where he has worked since 2015.
Finn will succeed Bernard Hannon, who is retiring.
“Alan’s diverse experience has prepared him well for his new role at our University,” President Gregory Mearns said in a news release. “He has worked with state budget models and incentive-based budget models and with legislators and board members. He has also supervised human resources in his previous roles. Alan is experienced and engaging, and I believe he will fit in well with our current leadership at our University.”
Finn will step into his new role August 15.
