A country store in the Allen County town of Grabill appears ready to attract investors with a new filing to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Grabill Country Sales LLC has operated in the town northeast of Fort Wayne since 2010, according to its website, serving as a bakery, deli and specialty store featuring mostly Amish-made products.
According to an SEC Form D filing dated January 7, Grabill Country Sales consolidated with Grabill Food Services LP to form a new entity—Grabill Country Store LLC.
The specific SEC filing, Form D, often is most commonly filled out when a company raises capital from investors, but it can also be filed if there is a securities offering in connection with a business merger or acquisition.
When contacted by Inside INdiana Business on Monday, a representative from Grabill Country Sales who answered the phone confirmed the two entities merged, but did not provide any other information.
Allen Country property records show the Grabill group first purchased the lot on Fairview Drive in 2012. Last month, the ownership of the lot officially changed from Grabill Country Sales to Grabill Country Store.
