BAE Systems to Break Ground on $39M Center
City, state and company officials are scheduled to mark the start of construction Friday on a $39 million BAE Systems facility in Fort Wayne. The new aviation electronics manufacturing center will be located near Fort Wayne International Airport. BAE says the investment will help retain around 1,000 Allen County jobs.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – BAE Systems will break ground on its new world-class aviation electronics manufacturing center in Fort Wayne at the intersection of Airport Expressway and Ardmore Avenue at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 2. Speakers on the agenda include:
-U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly (D – Ind.)
-U.S. Representative Marlin Stutzman (R – Ind.)
