The Aviation Institute of Maintenance in Indianapolis will Thursday host a career fair. The event will include 20 companies from the aviation industry looking to fill a variety of positions.
The career fair will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the AIM campus at 7251 W. McCarty Street on the west side of Indianapolis. The career fair is free and open to AIM students, graduates and members of the public interested in careers in aviation maintenance.
AIM says the employers attending will provide guidance regarding the application process for their companies and may hold on-site interview for qualified applicants. Job seekers are encouraged to dress professionally and bring multiple copies of their resume.
"This will be an extraordinary opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in aviation maintenance and, at the same time, provides an avenue for us to promote the various training options available here at AIM," said Andy Duncan, campus executive director of Aviation Institute of Maintenance’s Indianapolis campus. "Getting to meet face to face with so many recruiters; without getting lost in the shuffle of online applications, is something that individuals serious about a career in aviation will definitely want to take advantage of."
