Avery Dennison to Begin Fort Wayne Layoffs in March

Subscribe NowCalifornia-based Avery Dennison Corp. has detailed plans for the previously-announced closing of its plant in Fort Wayne. More than 150 people will lose their jobs as the facility winds down production over the next year.
In a notice to the state, Avery Dennison said the first round of layoffs will occur in March, followed by period departures until December 2021.
The manufacturer of adhesives, labeling products, and packaging materials said the employees do not have bumping rights to displace other workers at the company.
