Authority OKs Negotiations For Largest Building Yet

The News and Tribune in Jeffersonville reports the River Ridge Development Authority has agreed to negotiations regarding the sale of 80 acres for an unnamed prospective company.
The price for the land is set at $60,000 per acre.
If the project is comes together, it would be more expansive then the Amazon.com Fulfillment Center, which is currently the largest building located at River Ridge.
The board also gave its approval to negotiate the sale of more than five acres along Ind. 62 for future commercial or retail use at $120,000 an acre.
River Ridge includes industrial and commercial developments throughout the approximately 6,000-acre site.
