Pittsburgh-based Matthews Aurora Funeral Solutions has announced plans to add nearly three dozen jobs at its Dearborn County casket facility. The company says the new jobs come as a new cremation casket product line is being added to the facility in Aurora.
Matthews Aurora says the jobs are being added to support the second phase of a manufacturing transition, which began in December. One month prior, the company announced it was closing its Richmond casket manufacturing plant, with some production shifting to the Aurora location. The company says the transition has already created nearly 40 jobs over the last four months.
The new positions are expected to be added beginning next month. Those interested in applying for the jobs can find more info by clicking here.
