Audrey Geisel Endow Chair Named

The Indiana University School of Nursing has named Janet Carpenter the inaugural Audrey S. Geisel Endowed Chair in Innovation. She has served as IU School of Nursing dean since 2003 and has served as the school’s associate dean for research for the past sic years.  

The award was established through a $2 million estate gift from IU alumna, Audrey Geisel. She is the wife of children’s author, Theodor Suess Giesel, better known as Dr. Seuss.
