Ice Miller LLP has added Attorney Moein Khawaja to its business group. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts and agreements, representation of start-up and emerging growth companies, private equity and venture capital transactions, regulatory compliance and general corporate and governance matters. Moein previously practiced business law at a firm in Chicago, where he was also director of a civil liberties nonprofit organization. He earned his juris doctor from the Indiana University School of Law in 2015. While in law school, Moein served as managing editor of the Indiana Law Journal and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Terry A. Crone at the Indiana Court of Appeals.
