Longtime TV Reporter Joins AG’s Staff

Attorney General Curtis Hill has named veteran TV journalist Chris Proffitt communications director. He previously worked for WTHR-TV for 21 years and five years for WRTV. Proffitt’s coverage included the Olympic Games in Atlanta and Sydney and four NASA shuttle missions. He is a nine-time Emmy Award winner, a National Edward R. Murrow Awards first-place recipient and winner of the prestigious National Headliner Award for excellence in journalism.
