AT&T Makes Upgrades in Knox County

As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowAT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) is boosting its wireless service in Knox County. The company has upgraded a cell tower in Wheatland with its 4G LTE service and also enhanced service in Vincennes.
AT&T says the upgrades will provide faster wireless service to customers in the area. The boost is part of an ongoing effort by the company to improve its wireless network throughout the state.
"These kinds of technology improvements benefit our businesses and citizens alike," said Indiana Senator Mark Messmer (R-48). "AT&T’s continued investment in our communities is much appreciated and welcome."
AT&T’s most recent improvements include the upgrade of more than a dozen cell towers in the Fort Wayne area as well the upgrade of more than 55 cell towers in northern Indiana.
