AT&T Launches 4G LTE Service in Southern Indiana

AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) continues to expand mobile Internet service throughout the state. The telecommunications provider has launched its 4G LTE service in several southern Indiana locations, including French Lick, Montgomery and Paragon.
The company has also brought the service to Popcorn, Springville, Waymansville, and Whitaker. AT&T says the locations will have access to faster mobile Internet speeds, benefiting both residents and businesses.
"Tourism, agriculture, manufacturing or health care – you name it. Today, all depend on fast, reliable mobile internet," said State Senator Eric Koch (R-44). "It’s great to see yet another investment in technology by AT&T in Southern Indiana. This is sure to benefit our communities and citizens alike."
AT&T says it has invested nearly $1.7 billion into its wireless and wired networks throughout Indiana between 2014 and 2016. Last week, the company announced the addition of its third cell tower in Montgomery County over the last year.
