AT&T Expands in Southern Indiana

(NYSE: T) is providing its high-speed mobile Internet service to more residents in southern Indiana. The company has launched its 4G LTE service near Salem, as well as Campbellsburg and Plattsburg in Washington County.
AT&T says the enhanced service will provide faster Internet speeds to residents in the area. The 4G LTE service was added to cell towers on State Road 60 in Campbellsburg, SR 135 in Plattsburg and SR 56 northeast of Salem.
"This is the kind of technology improvement that can benefit everyone in these communities," said State Senator Erin Houchin (R-47). "So many of us rely on mobile internet to do business, educate our children, and communicate with folks all over the world. We appreciate AT&T’s continued investment in Southern Indiana."
The company previously launched the service on its cell tower in the city of Salem.
