AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) continues to roll out its high-speed mobile Internet service in Indiana. The company has launched its 4G LTE service in Wakarusa and Wawaka in northern Indiana.

AT&T installed its 4G LTE service on a cell tower near State Road 19 on the north side of Wakarusa. Another cell site was utilized on the west side of Wawaka near U.S. 6.

"In order to keep up with the speed of today’s economy, our businesses need access to the latest technologies," said Wakarusa Town Manager Jeff Troxel. "It’s tremendous to see this investment by AT&T in our community; it’s sure to benefit the area immediately."

The company has boosted its 4G LTE service in several Indiana communities, most recently in Versailles, Nineveh, Rising Sun, Brownsburg and Franklin.
