AT&T Inc. is expanding the reach of its 4G LTE coverage in Delaware and Noble counties. The company says it has launched the high-speed service in Kimmell and boosted capacity of towers in Ligonier and Muncie.

The Delaware County upgrades are to towers in the city and around the Ball State University campus. AT&T says data usage continues to rise throughout its mobile network, driven primarily by video traffic.

The company says last year, it also made improvements to towers in the counties including the communities of Albion, Alvilla, Brimfield, Burr Oak, Gaston, Kendalville, Kimmell, Muncie, Wawaka, Wolcottville and Yorktown.
