AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) has announced it has added two new cell towers to expand its 4G LTE service. The new towers are located in Brownsburg and Franklin.

The new towers bring the total number of new AT&T cell sites in the Indianapolis area since August. The company has also added new towers in areas outside of central Indiana over the past year, including Kendallville, Ligonier, Rutland and Greendale.

"It’s great that our community has been included in AT&T’s continued investment in Indiana," said Town of Brownsburg Economic Development Director Greg Anderson. "Improved wireless service can only mean positive things for our job growth and retention efforts in Brownsburg."

AT&T says it has invested nearly $2 billion in its wireless and wired networks between 2012 and 2014.
