AT&T Boosts Batesville Service

AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) has upgraded its service in the Batesville area. The company has launched its 4G LTE service on an additional cell site on the south side of the city and enhanced a second cell site near I-74.

AT&T says the upgrades will help customers get more out of their service. AT&T Indiana President Bill Soards says, "We’re always working to provide better coverage. And we’re investing in our wireless network to accomplish that."

It is the latest in a string of service upgrades for AT&T. The company has boosted its 4G LTE service in several Indiana communities, most recently in Wakarusa, Wawaka, Versailles, Nineveh, and Rising Sun, among others.
