AT&T Adds Martinsville Cell Tower

AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) is growing its service in Morgan County. The company has added a new cell tower in Martinsville with extra added capacity it says will provide faster service for customers.
AT&T says the new tower adds to the service improvements made to eight existing towers in Morgan County last year. State Representative Peggy Mayfield (R-60) says improving the telecommunication infrastructure in the county will make it possible for local businesses to compete and prosper.
"Investment like this from AT&T will result in faster speeds and better connections for Martinsville," said Martinsville Mayor Shannon Kohl. "That means stronger signals on our wireless devices, but it also means keeping job makers connected better than ever before, and that’s an important tool for our local economy."
AT&T Indiana says it has invested nearly $1.7 billion in its wireless and wired networks between 2014 and 2016.
