AT&T Adds Another Cell Tower in Montgomery County

The new tower is located near Cordry Lake and Sweetwater Lake in Brown County.

AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) has added increased its 4G LTE service area in Crawfordsville. The telecommunications provider has now added three cell towers in Montgomery County with in the last year.

The new site is at State Road 47 and County Road 200 South. Crawfordsville Mayor Todd Barton says "whether it’s attracting economic development or visitors to our community, this latest investment in technology by AT&T is great news."

AT&T says it has pumped nearly $1.7 billion into its technology infrastructure from 2014-2016.
