Evansville-based Atlas World Group Inc., the parent company of Atlas Van Lines, has promoted Jason Kempf to corporate controller. He joined the company in 2004 as claims controller. Kempf brings 18 years of experience to his newest role. As a CPA, he has been integral in managing upgrades to Atlas’ financial processes and serves as the subject matter expert for generally accepted accounting principles. Kempf previously served as an assistant controller and regional accounting manager in the transportation industry for six years. He is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana where he earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting.
