Athenaeum Foundation Names President

The Athenaeum Foundation in Indianapolis has a new president. Craig Mince, who previously served as director of the IMAX Theater at the Indiana State Museum, will begin his new role in November.

Mince succeeds Cassie Stockamp, who announced in June she would step down to pursue philanthropic opportunities throughout the world. The foundation’s board cited Mince’s previous leadership, fundraising, and relationship-building success in selecting him for the position.

"We’re fortunate to have found a new president with the rare combination of experienced leadership and close connectivity to diverse communities throughout Indianapolis," said Greg Henneke, chair of the Athenaeum Foundation board. "Craig’s passion for culture, community and the arts will infuse new ideas and guide the Athenaeum toward an even more promising future."

The foundation says Stockamp will assist Mince with the transition before leaving at the end of the year.

Nearly two years into the steepest increase in interest rates in over 40 years, can we now say we've achieved a soft landing? Or is this a delayed economic response with a 2024 recession certain to come?...
