Aspire Economic Development + Chamber Alliance, the Franklin Chamber of Commerce and United Way of Johnson County have received a donation of pandemic-related supplies from AT&T (NYSE: T). The organizations say the supplies will be available for free to all businesses and nonprofits in Johnson County, and Aspire and Franklin Chamber of Commerce members, as well as United Way partner organizations.
Donated supplies include gloves, hand sanitizer and disinfectant worth a total of about $25,000.
“We are extremely grateful for this generous contribution from AT&T,” said Aspire President Christian Maslowski. “Although the vaccine is being administered broadly across the county, the health threat remains very real, as does the need for these supplies.”
The organizations say distribution to registered organizations will take place April 19 and 20.
“United Way of Johnson County is happy to participate in the pandemic-related supply program made available to our community by AT&T,” said United Way Executive Director Nancy Lohr Plake. “Our community of member professionals will greatly appreciate the opportunity to have access to these items.”
