The Association of Fundraising Professionals has named Melanie Frazier to its board of directors of the Indiana chapter. She is the Center for Leadership Development director of development and previously served as senior manager of development.

“Like many industries, fundraising and non-profit development would only benefit by having greater diversity, specifically additional representation by Black professionals,” said Frazier. “At CLD, we are proud to have an established track record of fundraising success, and one of my goals is to pass along my knowledge and experience so that other professionals working with organizations serving minority populations can thrive as well.”

Frazier holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Roosevelt University
