Assisted Living Community Opens in Columbus

The company, which manages the multi-million-dollar development, says the community is designed for seniors of all incomes and will create nearly 50 full and part-time jobs when fully occupied.
The community sits on four acres features a variety of amenities and services, including meals, housekeeping, laundry and transportation. It will also include personal assistance and medication administration for residents.
“Our focus is to provide Vivera Senior Living residents with the love, compassion and dignity they deserve and the help and assistance they need,” said Rod Burkett, chief executive officer of Gardant Management Solutions. “Our emphasis is on helping each resident achieve and maintain as much independence as possible for as long as possible.”
According to the company, residents will live in private apartments that feature a kitchenette, bathroom with shower and grab bars, individually controlled heating and air conditioning and emergency alert system.
Gardant says a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held later this year.
