The Indiana Arts Commission has unveiled two grant programs in connection with the Indiana Bicentennial. Arts in the Parks and Indiana Masterpiece will focus on public art projects and access to artistic exhibits, performances and celebrations throughout the state.

Arts in the Parks will support artists and organizations looking to create public art displays and activities at the state's parks and forests. Indiana Masterpiece will help fund projects designed to connect Hoosiers with Indiana's artistic and cultural history through various exhibits and events.

Arts in the Parks will offer grants of up to $3,000. The application deadline for organizations is September 9. The deadline for individuals is September 14.

Indiana Masterpiece will offer grants of up to $20,000. The deadline for a notice of intent to apply is August 17. The application deadline is September 1.
