The ARCH Board of Directors has promoted Jill McDevitt to executive director. She has a M.S. in Historic Preservation from Ball State University and a B.A. in History from St. Joseph’s College. McDevitt has worked at ARCH for more than three years as a historic preservation specialist, focusing primarily on documentation and advocacy. During her time at ARCH she has written multiple National Register of Historic Places nominations, Historic Tax Credit applications and completed field survey work for the Allen County Historic Sites and Structures Survey. McDevitt has also coordinated ARCH’s annual Endangered List and political candidate survey. She will be replacing Michael Galbraith, who left ARCH in July to join the Northeast Regional Partnership.
