Philadelphia-based Aramark (NYSE: ARMK) is planning to lay off 66 employees who work at Victory Field in downtown Indianapolis. In a notice to the state, the company says the ballpark “does not anticipate business improving in full for an undefined period of time and will only need our services in a limited capacity, if at all, during this time-period.”

Aramark provides a variety of food and facilities services for Victory Field. The company says while it does expect business conditions to improve, it does not know when that will occur due to the evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The affected employees are not represented by a union and do not have bumping rights.

Business at Victory Field has been slow this year after Minor League Baseball announced the cancellation of the 2020 season due to the pandemic.
