Two measures passed by the Fort Wayne City Council are designed to create and retain jobs. The Journal Gazette reports tax phase-ins have been approved for a pair of businesses looking to add a total of nearly 70 jobs. Press-Seal Gasket Corp. is looking to invest $3 million into upgrades and more than a dozen additional workers.

The company is also planning to purchase new manufacturing equipment.

BRC Rubber & Plastics Inc.'s intends to move its headquarters to the Allen County city from Churubusco. Plans call for 55 more employees and facility improvements through a $365,000 investment.
