Patti Stauffer has been appointed executive director of the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics, a nonprofit membership organization founded in 1991 and dedicated to advancing scholarship, education and practice in practical and professional ethics. 

She brings 25 years of leadership in the nonprofit sector, most recently serving as vice president for policy, strategy and compliance for a multi-state, nonprofit health care organization.

Stauffer is a graduate of Indiana University’s School of Public & Environmental Affairs. She previously served as center administrator for the University of Miami’s Institute for Women’s Health and as associate director for Florida International University College of Medicine’s Division of Research.

Stauffer has a B.S. Biology and a M.S. in Environmental Science.
