Anthem’s Cindy Heston, director of travel and events, was inducted into the BTN Group’s Business Travel Hall of Fame. She was also named one of Business Travel News’ 25 Most Influential for 2016. Heston joins an elite group of travel industry executives that include airline and hotel chain founders and CEOs.
Business Travel News has long recognized Heston for her focus on the strategic management of supplier partners to elevate the corporate travel program to best in class, beginning in 2000 when it named her Travel Manager of the Year. BTN also named her a Best Practitioner in 2008 for her meetings management accomplishments and in 2013 for leveraging new technology to better serve Anthem associates travel and meeting and event needs. Business Travel News also listed Cindy as one of the 25 Most Influential Executives in the business travel industry in 2013.
