Another Major Development Coming to International Marketplace

Officials in Indianapolis will Friday break ground on a $24 million mixed-use development at the International Marketplace on the city’s west side. The International Marketplace Coalition says the Pyramids at 35 Hundred will include residential and commercial space, creating 75 permanent jobs.
The project will include 130 mixed-income senior, independent living units and 15,000 square feet of re-adapted commercial space. The coalition says work on the development, which is expected to be complete in June 2019, will create 250 construction jobs.
The groundbreaking ceremony comes two weeks after the International Marketplace Coalition broke ground on the $18 million Hanna International Lofts mixed-use development. Mary Clark, executive director of the coalition, appeared last week on Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick to talk about that project and the future of the International Marketplace.
