In a WARN notice, Angola-based AAA Sales & Engineering said about half of the employees will be permanently laid off around December 8. The rest of the staff will be laid-off in phases. The company expects to be completed by the end of January.
The company manufactures castings and forgings for a variety of industries, including automotive, heavy-duty trucks and agriculture.
The company also operates a plant in Oak Creek, Wisconsin which the company says has some job openings. AAA Sales & Engineering says it has made efforts to encourage workers to accept job offers to that facility.
