The university says the redesigned program will better fit the lives of working nurses and will be once again offered in the fall.
The university says the courses can be fully taken online within 12 to 24 months and presents a restructured curriculum within areas of assessment, pathophysiology and pharmacology. AU Provost Joel Shrock says the state has an unfulfilled need for nurses.
“Anderson University’s commitment to bringing back the RN to BSN program in a new and improved format illustrates our response to our state’s needs, and our desire for Hoosiers to benefit from highly trained AU nurses.”
The university says work experience and previously earned college credits from associate degree nursing programs are factored into the number of required course hours needed to complete the 120-hour degree.
