Anderson University Announces Optional Testing

Anderson University has announced that the SAT and ACT are now optional when applying to the school. Prospective students will not be required to submit the scores for admission. The decision was originally planned for the 2020-2021 academic year, but university leaders decided to implement it now due COVID-19 concerns.
“We would rather prospective students focus on their studies rather than their inability to take the SAT or ACT due to test centers closing,” said Heather Kim, vice president for marketing and enrollment. “Given the nature of what is happening with the Coronavirus, we will continue to make quality, holistic admission decisions for those students who are either unable to test or who choose not to submit test scores.”
