Anderson to Announce $100M Investment

A source tells Inside Indiana Business NTK Precision Axle Corp., which is a joint venture that includes Japan-based NTN Corp., will detail plans for a nearly $100 million manufacturing facility. NTK is based in Frankfort.
The investment involves construction of a 300,000 square-foot facility and plans for nearly 200 jobs by 2021. It will be located just west of the Nestle plant in the Madison County city.
In November, NTN Corp. broke ground on a $130 million facility in Anderson for its NTN Driveshaft Inc. subsidiary, which is based in Columbus.
Indiana Secretary of Commerce Jim Schellinger and Anderson Mayor Tom Broderick will join NTN executives at the announcement later this morning. Inside INdiana Business will be on hand for the event, which is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m.
