Columbus-based Cummins Inc. has named Peter Anderson vice president of global supply chain and manufacturing. He previously worked for Ernst & Young, where he helped form and lead the America’s Supply Chain Practice and consulted with Cummins and other global companies to develop their supply chain strategy. In his new role, Anderson will join the leadership team and operating team. He will lead the supply chain organization which includes purchasing, quality, manufacturing, analytics, central supply chain operations, remanufacturing and Envision Cummins, a function that aligns business processes and capabilities. Anderson is a graduate of Huddersfield Polytechnic and Strathclyde Graduate Business School.
