The move is funded through Indiana's Hardest Hit Fund Blight Elimination Program. The demolition is scheduled for Thursday, May 28, at 1:00 p.m. The site is located at 2427 Locust Street in Anderson. If there is bad weather, the alternate location will be the Hearing Room at Anderson City Hall.
The goal of the Blight Elimination Program is to help prevent avoidable foreclosures by eliminating blighted and abandoned homes in Indiana communities.
