Subscribe NowDr. Richard Kovacs has been selected to serve as vice president of the American College of Cardiology. He is a cardiologist with Indiana University Health. Kovacs’ one-year term will begin in March 2018.
He is one of the nation’s top authorities on sports cardiology. Kovacs leads the IU Health team that performs cardiovascular screenings on players who come to Indianapolis for the annual NFL Scouting Combine. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine, Kovacs completed his residency at Indiana University Medical Center. He also serves as a professor of clinical medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine.
